The theme I am trying to portray in my poem is dreams, an ambition a cherished desire. Each one of us needs to have dreams in order to succeed and go ahead in life. Life is lifeless without dreams. Paulo Coelho applied this concept in the main character which took him on this adventure. If Santiago didn’t dream about the treasure he wouldn’t have gone for the journey. Having a dream is important to everyone because it is the dream that sets your path in life. History is witness that behind every great accomplishment there is somebody’s dream. To achieve big you must dream big. As Anatole France once said “To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe."
